Zelda Ocarina Of Time on N64 - Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly

Start by killing the Octorocks using targeting and your shield to deflect their attacks back at their heads. Next, avoid the water bubbles and use your slingshot on the sort of uvula (1) to open "the door". Cross the next room without falling into the hole and avoiding the jellyfish (you will be able to kill them easily later). In the next room, you meet Princess Ruto who claims she didn't ask for help. She runs away and falls into a hole. Follow her by jumping into this hole (2) to land on a small platform (if you fall next to it, you can climb the wall). Talk to Ruto again (twice) and follow her request by carrying her on your head, then go through the door behind you. --From now on, you must try not to lose the princess (for example by avoiding going for a swim or throwing her into a hole). If it happens despite everything, retrace your steps and you will find her there.-- Cross the corridor avoiding the Bulld'O and fall into the hole at the very end. Throw Ruto onto the platform opposite (3) then go join her by stepping on the floor switch.

Follow the corridor and activate the switch in the air by throwing Ruto onto it or by firing the slingshot (1) then go through the door. Kill the Octorok then wait a moment for a platform to arrive. Jump on it (2) and wait for it to go all the way to the top to jump onto the path. You are in the 2nd room of the Dungeon, go back to the room where you saw Ruto for the first time. Cross this room, this time avoiding falling into the holes. The next room is traversed by worms and divides into 3 corridors. Take the one on the right and walk on the button at the end with Ruto (3) on your back and open the door.

Take her and set Ruto down in the room where you arrive to defeat all the "mantas" (1). To kill them, target them and take your slingshot. Approach them to lure them out and shoot when they fly. You have to hit them twice and wait a moment between these 2 times as they remain invincible for a short moment. Once all 4 are defeated, take the boomerang from the chest that appeared in the center of the room then leave this room with Ruto. Thanks to the boomerang, you will be able to kill the electric jellyfish, bubbles, and worms. Go straight to the switch and place Ruto on it (2) to be able to pass through the door. You find yourself facing a giant tentacle that must be defeated using targeting and the boomerang (3). To hit it, you will need to be quite close to it. Four hits should be enough to get it and obtain the map of the dungeon.

Go back out and take the door at the end of the corridor just on the left. There, eliminate all the bubbles (1) within the time limit (don't hesitate to run into them, they don't make you lose much health) and take the compass in the chest that appears. Go back through the corridor room and take the last door on the left (door that was "protected" by an electric tentacle). Kill the tentacle like the previous one (2), go back out and take the middle corridor. Kill the jellyfish then the last tentacle (3) (watch out, the blue one is a bit harder than the 2 red ones). All the tentacles are now eliminated, pick Ruto up where you left her (she will complain but it doesn't matter) then leave the room with the 3 corridors to find yourself back in the room with the holes.

Fall with Ruto into the hole to the right of the entrance one (1) to fall onto the highest platform of the room below. Kill the 2 skulltulas and take the door at the end of the corridor. Throw Princess Ruto onto the platform so she can grab the stone. Unfortunately, the platform rises to the floor above and when it comes back down, a big beast is on it but Ruto has disappeared. To defeat this sort of giant octopus, you must use the boomerang (2). If you hit it, it will turn completely blue. You must then give it a sword strike from behind (as always, I recommend the targeted attack then A (3)). If the beast is facing you, don't go around, wait for it to start moving again and immediately throw your boomerang again. After this fight, get on the platform that will take you to the upper floor.

There is a fairy in one of the vases behind. Go take the door at the end of the corridor. In this room, you will see platforms that move. Use your boomerang to stop the first one (it turns blue), get on it, and stop the second platform (1) then cross the room quickly. In this "room", jump onto the platform against the wall. This one will descend to the second room of the palace. Go get a small crate at the other end of the room to keep the switch (2) in front of the door pressed down, and go through this door. Kill the jellyfish within boomerang range and climb the roots. You find yourself at the top of the room and you should see a switch protected by a sort of spider web. Target this switch and use your boomerang to activate it and open the door (3). Take this door, and prepare for combat.

Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly - Boss: Barinade, Bio-Electric Anemone Play music

Here you are facing the boss: Barinade, the Bio-Electric Anemone. The fight is divided into 4 parts.

  1. The giant anemone is attached to the ceiling and you must target its tentacles with the boomerang.
  2. The anemone is on the ground, protected by blue jellyfish that spin very fast. Target it and shoot with the boomerang until you hit it. When you hit it, it turns blue and the small blue jellyfish find themselves isolated. Take the opportunity to kill them with the boomerang, remembering to re-stun Barinade regularly.
  3. A second series of jellyfish will come to help Barinade, same technique.
  4. Barinade now has no one to protect her. Send her a boomerang to be able to hit her and avoid her attacks when she sinks into the ground.

For stage 1 and 4 (and for the other 2 before having separated the anemone and the jellyfish), I advise you to always target Barinade and go around her by moving forward/backward if she rushes at you or if she moves away.

Barinade dies in horrible pain, take the heart and go join Ruto in the light circle. She thanks you and gives you the Spiritual Stone of Water (Zora's Sapphire), which is a Zora engagement ring.
