Zelda Ocarina Of Time : Bean holes

General information:

Bean holes are squares of freshly turned soil ready to receive a seed when you are young. When you grow up, the seed will have become a large plant that will fly away when you climb on it and carry you to a heart piece, a skulltula, or another otherwise inaccessible location. The seller starts his sales at 10 rupees for the first bean, then 20 for the second, 30 for the third, and so on. This seller is located at the entrance to Zora's River, just past the rocks you blasted open.

1) Lake Hylia

This hole is located in front of the professor's laboratory. The bean travels all the way around the lake and can take you to the roof (heart piece), to the fishing pond (gold scale) or to the island in the middle of the lake.

2) Death Mountain Trail

This hole is located right in front of Dodongo's Cavern. It gives access to a heart piece located just above. It can also be used to reach the Death Mountain Crater trail (3), just before the section where rocks fall.

3) Kakariko Village Graveyard

This hole is to the left when entering the graveyard proper. It takes you to a chest just above containing a heart piece.

4) Lost Woods

This hole is in the same spot as the Saria's Theater (see map). It rises in place like a mini elevator and allows you to obtain a skulltula.

5) Kokiri Forest

This hole is near the shop (house with the red roof). It only allows you to collect a few rupees (26).

6) Zora's River

This hole is at the entrance to the river after blasting the rocks blocking the path. It is not very useful other than taking you up to the platforms at the top of the river and carrying you almost to the end quickly.

7) Lost Woods (2)

This hole is located left then left again from the Lost Woods entrance. The bean lets you exit toward the plain without going through Kokiri Village (by jumping onto the bridge).

8) Gerudo Valley

This hole is on the riverbank, under the large waterfall. You need to dive into the water and pull yourself onto the ledge to reach it. It will take you over the river and lead you behind the waterfall where a heart piece is located, which you could also reach using a ladder.

9) Death Mountain Crater

This hole is right next to where the Bolero of Fire teleports you. Plant it by playing this song when you are young. This bean leads you to a heart piece and can take you to the top of the crater to exit at the top of Death Mountain Trail.

10) Desert Colossus

This hole is right in front of the Spirit Temple entrance; it will take you to a heart piece and a skulltula.
